You can remotely collect the current stas like number of connecte players,
bandwidth, CPU usage and so on using Windows Media Services SDK. As another
option, you may consider MOM (Microsoft Operations Manager) pack for
Windows 20003 server.

Can you also get these stats for on-demand files? For
example, at the end of the week, can you see how many
times a file has been pulled and for how long (either
average time or by hit)?

I'll check out the SDK and MOM.
